Groundwater source development is currently underway for the City of Tennessee Ridge to increase water supply capacity and strengthen long-term system resiliency. The project included the drilling of four (4) wells total (two large wells that ended up not yielding water, and then two small test wells), to eventually land on a water source to create a production well near Tennessee Ridge City Hall. This well will be 460 ft deep with a screen, sand, and gravel pack from around 100 – 150 ft deep and is expected to yield 70-100 GPM. This site will consist of the production well, pump, telemetry, well house, and flow meter and will connect to a raw water main that feeds the existing Water Treatment Plant (WTP) for Tennessee Ridge.
